THE NAKED TRUTH

I'm Myrtha Meadows, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, where I still live. Back in school I was the "smart nerd", shy and a bit introverted. After four and a half years of studying languages and Art History at Stockholm University, while dancing at the same time - mostly ballet - I injured myself really badly and had to take a break from life for about 8-9 years. The cronic pain I suffered (and more or less have to live with for the rest of my life) made me pretty much imobile for the first four years. But with lots of physiotherapy - which in my case was ballet excersizes - I slowly came back to life...

 

When I emerged from my coffin after almost ten years I realized I wasn't the shy girl I had been before my injury. I discovered burlesque and started modeling. I do what I call "burlesque ballet", where I blend the art of old fashioned striptease with the ballet I can still do. As a model I'm signed to Nocturnal Agency is Sweden, and BestTalent.com in the  US, but everything you see on this site is what I do as a freelancer. I do everything from fashion, to pin-up and art nudes, and have a huge closet full of vintage clothes and accessories. Most of the time I do my own hair, makeup and styling after working out a theme with the photographer.
