Video Shoot for Nightrage
Once I was hired to do burlesque ballet in a video for melodic death metal band Nightrage, to their single Affliction (that one you can see here). Two years later they wanted me back for another video, this time for their single The Damned. So, one sunny day last November, I found myself being driven out into the forest, in the middle of nowhere, by a bunch of very questionable men... Haha! Just kidding. The boys in the band are all very sweet, and we also brought with us a drone flyer, and photographer/producer Magnus Ewald.
Our destination was Ramhälls gruvor, an old iron ore mine that had been closed down in 1975. In the middle of the woods two very high buildings rise up among the trees, together with parts of their old transport tunnels, like huge, abandoned ghosts of the past.

The walls were littered with graffiti, and the wooden floors were littered with gravel, bat poo and broken glass, and also had big holes in them in a few places. One of the band members mentioned that this is a place you do NOT want to get drunk in! Taking a wrong step on one of the not so trustworthy stairs, or ending up falling down one of those holes could certainly lead to an early death. Fortunately, we all made it through that day alive!
We ended up shooting on almost every level of the biggest building, even in one of the transport tunnels, and when we reached the top floor, me and Magnus climbed out through a broken window onto the roof of the lower part of the building. The pics below doesn't give justice to the feeling of standing out there, high above the tree tops! Magnus also took some stills of me, and the light was amazing!

It was a really fun day, and here is the end result - the video:
